Cooper, of Whitesburg, Kentucky was born on November 13, 1962 in Sunman, a son to Donald Monroe and Deloris Mae Hummen Cooper.  He loved music, enjoyed playing the drums and liked being outdoors, especially fishing.  On Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the age of 57, he passed away.Survivors include one brother, William (Ruby) Cooper of Stanton, KY; two sisters, Mary Ann Russell of Moores Hill, and Linda Cooper of Brookville.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews, and fiancée Diane Grote.Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. at Negangard Corner Freewill Baptist Church, Sunman.  There will be no graveside services.To sign the online guestbook or to leave a personal condolence, please visit www.cookrosenberger.com.  The staff of Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home is honored to care for the family of James Cooper.last_img read more
