first_imgMiddle-ranking gardaí are continuing with a second day of industrial action today in a dispute over pay restoration.More than 2,000 sergeants and inspectors began their second-ever work-to-rule this morning at 7am, and for 24 hours will refuse to use the Garda IT system PULSE, take on admin duties and certain levels of correspondence from management.These moves by the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors came as talks with Government officials failed to come to an agreement.
