first_imgDanny Curran and James Carroll pictured with their GAA World All-Stars.Former Gaoth Dobhair duo James Carroll and Danny Curran were left disappointed after they lost their World Cup final at the GAA World Games in Abu Dhabi.Curran was captain of the Middle East Representative side and Carroll was the figurehead in attack.However, they were defeated by their colleagues the Middle East B side in an absolutely thrilling final. The Middle East B side ran out winners on a score-line of 4-17 to 1-23.The disappointment for the Gaoth Dobhair duo was softened by the fact they were awarded with GAA World All-Stars at a glamorous bash which was held afterwards.Both Curran and Carroll were selected on the All-Star team which was announced at the glitzy function.Well done to both lads on a brilliant achievement. Curran’s sister Karen a GAA star with Gaoth Dobhair ladies expressed her delight on Facebook.She posted, “Two World All Stars! Well done lads!
