Super Sally sprints to gold amazing Annas cycling gold and one sore

Aussie Anna Meares has won Olympic gold, stunning British sprint queen Victoria Pendleton in a superb display of speed and tactics. Aussie Lauren Jackson became the highest female point-scorer in Olympic history as the Opals set up a blockbuster semi-final against the US. Hockey’s Aussie Kookaburras got their smiles back after securing a hockey semi-final showdown against Germany today.
