Apple Store goes offline ahead of iPhone 7, 7 Plus launch

first_imgCupertino major Apple will likely launch its next batch of iPhones — the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus — alongside the second-generation Apple Watch at an event in San Francisco, a couple of hours from now. As per tradition, the company has stalled all business, ahead of the big iPhone keynote, to be hosted by Tim Cook and Co. at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.The Apple Online Store has gone offline, and currently reads, “We’ve got something special in store for you. And we can’t wait for you to see it. Please check back soon.” Clearly, new products are in tow, a couple of iPhones and possibly the Apple Watch 2 as well.Apple does this every time ahead of a launch event, to possibly, update its product listing, and make visitors aware (and excited) about its new announcements.At its big iPhone event, Apple Inc will likely launch the next-generation iPhone. That being said, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus are being said to offer mere incremental updates over the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus. They are likely to sport similar design with granular changes, in antenna placements. They will reportedly offer some kind of water-resistance and no headphone jack. Apple is also likely to launch a new pair of specially designed Ear Pods, to use with the new iPhones.The iPhone 7 Plus will likely sport a dual camera setup on the rear while the smaller iPhone 7 will likely carry OIS.
